I went with a salmonish color on my bedroom walls, and this is the look of what is on the left side of my bed. The wall decor is antique, the drum side table was bought at Target's online store many moons ago (I don't know if they still have it or not), the chair is from Anthropologie, the candelabra is from a store in Manhattan (forgot the name of the store, as it was long time ago), and is by a Mexican artist. The lamp base is from Ikea, and the lamp shade is by Mibo.

Some acrylic and some nature
I would not normally go for a straight-up, classic baroque chair, but this acrylic version by Acrila gives it a modern twist; and I am a sucker for a fusion of old & new.
Love this earthy chandelier by Bastien Taillard & Frank Lefebvre. For me pebbles in the ceiling is always a welcome change.

Speaking of pebbles, these KISIMI table lamps and side table/stool by Bleu Nature, that are made from acrylic and pebbles/wood are just beautiful.

Target find
Over the years I have come across some great finds at Target. I bought a side table, a great red chair with cut outs, a cool bookshelf which I have had now for over 5 years and a lot of plates for the kitchen at great prices at Target. Now I have come across this chair, which I don't need, but I think it is a nice design and is on sale, and one of you readers may be interested. They sell it in two's, so you'd have to purchase a minimum of 2 chairs. I like the wood back with cut-outs. I think wood legs would have worked better with this particular style though, but still it looks good.

A Turkish design company : Autoban
I wanted to dedicate a post to my fellow Turkishmen, Sefer Çağlar and Seyhan Özdemir, the designer duo behind the Turkish design company, Autoban. You can check out their website, which is in English, here.
They do interior design projects in Turkey, but internationally they are more known for their furniture products, most of which you can find in USA, both in stores and online, such as Velocityartanddesign. Here are a few examples:
They marry leather and wood in a very sleek, chic way with clean lines, like in these chairs and sofa.
Beautiful wooden side table:

Brocade Home
Here are some of my faves from Brocadehome. That company has a certain style: brocade meets clean modernness. Their stuff are almost all black/white. Don't expect greens and purples in that store.
I have been loving this chair for years. I have enough chairs, but if I was in the market for a chair, this would have been an option.
Love this media console.
I would use this small cabinet in a bathroom to store towels and other necessities.
The framed shelves would work great in a bathroom.
All that lacey detail seperates this from boring ledges out there.

Daily decor finds
I am so giddy over these new finds.
Check out these wonderful and colorful drawers, tables and chairs by Seletti.
And this bookcase by Seletti is particularly creative.
These white porcelain bowl and vases look instantly interesting with that pop of color on them.
This whimsical lamp by Mathieu Challières is lovely. In the description on The Conran Shop's page, it says it has "faux" birds. Faux...No kidding.
These balloon dogs are terribly cute (and of course, it is no balloon. It is the resin bookend version of artist Jeff Koons' "balloon dog" sculpture. It would work as a great decor piece on any shelf).
These faceted geo planters at Sprout Home break the mold of generic terracotta pots.
These apothecary jars would go with any style. You can check them out at Heliotropehome.
And this one with robin egg soaps by Gianna Rose Atelier are great decor for the bathroom (I think I may buy this)....By the way, if you like my blog, please follow me by clicking on the "follow me" button on the top right hand side. I appreciate your interest immensely.

Can't have enough chairs
I had seen suitcase-turned-dog-beds. This chair is yet another re-purposing of the suitcase (by Katie Thompson):
Love the curves on this one. Jury is out on how comfortable it would be to sit on though:
And I love this Frost chair by furnID. Simple and elegantly modern.

Marvels of Hayon Studio
Instant love!! Tudor chair by Huyon Studio. I would prefer silver legs though.

This vase by Hayon Studio should perhaps be in the "Art" section of my blog, because it is truly a work of art.
And I am speechless but loving this green chicken by Hayon Studio, which clearly rocks!
I also love these copper (they also come in silver) vases by Hayon Studio.
And these evil eye (I don't know why in English it is called "evil eye"; because it implies that the eye symbolizes evil, while in actuality, as the superstition goes, the eye supposedly protects one FROM the evilness of others) bowls and vases are designed by Hayon Studio for a Turkish company called Gaia and Gino.

Cloud Chair
I usually don't care for light-colored chairs. Unless it is accessories like vases, I don't really like any white decor elements. But this cloud chair by Lisa Widen by Design House Stockholm appeals to me for some reason. I think the ad cleverly used the angelic looking toddler, because , like the chair's name clearly suggests, it looks very cloudlike.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, we have a colorful chair here by the Phillips Collection , which was on sale today on Gilt.com. It is made of industrial seat belt material.

Metallic touch
If you are looking for something a bit masculine for your space, this chair by Restoration Hardware is interesting.
And I like this side table by West Elm:
